About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, professional, and organized Assistant General Manager to support the day-to-day operations of Rogers School of Music, our music school in Rogers, MN. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager and serve as a key point of contact for students, families, and teachers to ensure a smooth and welcoming school environment.
The desired time commitment for this position is as follows:
Tuesdays 9 am-4 pm
Wednesdays and Thursdays 3 pm-9 pm
Fridays 12 pm-7 pm
Primary responsibilities include:
- Responding to phone calls and emails from students and families regarding enrollment, scheduling, and general inquiries
- Assisting with teacher scheduling and communication to help maintain accurate and up-to-date student schedules
- Supporting the management of the school’s website, newsletters, and social media to positively represent the school within the local community
- Helping to organize and coordinate student performances, recitals, and community events
- Ensuring that facilities are well-stocked and that teachers have the necessary materials and equipment
- Performing general administrative tasks as needed to support school operations
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and a strong customer service mindset. An interest in music and music education is a plus.
Pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $18-$20/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job. Health benefit packages are available to all part- and full-time employees.
