Ensemble Schools is looking for an experienced Pre-school Dance Teacher to inspire and nurture the next generation of dancers by teaching our Preschool Prep program called Performing Arts Club. Our growing studio Dance With Me School of Dance in Bel Air, Maryland focuses on providing quality instruction in a safe environment. We're seeking instructors who can deliver engaging, in-person lessons and contribute to the vibrant dance community. Responsibilities:
- Instruct 1-3 group classes incorporating dance, art, music, drama, and movement for ages 3-5.
- Classes are held 3 days per week between 9:30am-1:00pm; there is a potential for 5 days per week as the program grows and enrollment increases.
- Showcase a strong background in dance through educational, teaching, and/or performing experience.
- Demonstrate a genuine love for teaching and experience working with young dancers.
- Choreograph dances for recitals.
- Provide reliable transportation and pass a routine background check.
- Exhibit traits of dependability, professionalism, enthusiasm, punctuality, and friendliness.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and vibrant personality for engaging young dancers.
- Post-secondary dance training experience such as a certificate or degree in dance performance, education, or related fields (not mandatory but a plus).
