About the Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and nurturing music educator who is experienced in teaching early childhood music. This teacher would be teaching our Music FunTime classes IN PERSON for Music and Dance Academy in Tucson, AZ. Preference would be given to a teacher who can also teach piano or voice lessons, but all candidates will be considered for the role and are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in Music Performance or Music Education and a demonstrated love of teaching. Experience working with children ages 3-5 years old, and the ability to pass a routine background check are a must. Proficient piano and guitar skills are helpful but not required. The candidate should feel comfortable reading, interpreting and implementing lesson plans from a program.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $25-$26/hour with a $5/hour enrollment bonus for each student after the fourth. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.
